Do You Want More Confidence?
The most obvious place to start is by identifying the causes and concerns that your lack of confidence causes you. Often, we will conveniently ignore the additional side-effects that aren’t immediately obvious but have the same detrimental effect and we will discover those too.
We will look for the root cause of your lack of confidence as well as working around the issues – dating, public speaking, raising children etc – and turning your thought processes around so you will be able to look at them from a position of strength. Sometimes it can be simply a case of facing your issues head-on and dealing with them but that doesn’t go for everyone so by a process of elimination we’ll discover what’s a ‘yes’ and what’s a ‘no’ for you.
Olga’s Confidence courses aren’t just weekly sessions. If you really want to be more confident, you need to put the effort in and you’ll be given exercises to do on your own between sessions. Homework it may be, but they are vitally important and each one will be debriefed at the next session.
Dependent on your progress and needs, the exercises will remain constant, changed or tweaked. It’s a fluid process rather a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
As a net result of your sessions, you will see dramatic improvements to the areas of your life that your lack of confidence had previously affected. You will become more confident, more positive and more self-assured, but only if you follow the program.
It’s important to note here that in coaching, it is you and you only who is responsible for the results. Olga will guide you and give you the tools you need, but it is you who has to use them in the right way for lasting, permanent results.

If there was anyone who understood what a lack of confidence was on multiple levels, it was Olga and if you’ve read her books, you’ll know that she had what most people would call an ‘unusual’ upbringing!
When she was small, she was taught, as we all were, not to talk to strangers and her father decided she needed to become ‘socially equipped’ and gave her some books on how to improve her social skills. She was four years old.
She put them down and didn’t touch them for three years but when she was seven she realised that not being able to talk to people (especially at that time her peers and schoolteachers) would cause issues further down the line.
The exercise she still recollects vividly was walking around the park in her home town in -10°C, freezing her paws off and looking for a stranger to ask her very first question – ‘where do crocodiles sleep in the winter?’
After four days of wandering around, she was approached by an adult who asked whether she needed any help and she plucked up the courage to ask the question. The first helper was kind and fudged some sort of answer a seven year-old child might understand. Others laughed. Some thought she was retarded. Some even called her names.
As off-putting and offensive as this experience was for a child, for Olga it galvanised her. Buying into the ‘sticks and stones may break my bones’ philosophy she gradually became more and more confident.
But when tragedy struck and her darling husband passed away, so did her confidence. The confidence left her as quickly as her husband did and she had to start again, but this time, she got help, and whatever your confidence issues are, Olga can help you.
